breakfast and a song

Tenuousness by Andrew Bird on Grooveshark

this morning has been spent watching oatmeal boil on the stove top and rainy clouds churn into sunshine outside...trying to stir a sleepy son and a even sleepier fella...a couple of extra spoonfuls of brown sugar... a trip to the post office to admire new stamps.

such is a springtime monday...

  1. Beautiful song. My morning was less delightful sounding and more a frantic rush to get to my college on time to write a final. I'm sure there's beauty in there somewhere though...maybe.

  2. The oatmeal looks delicious. My breakfast wasn't quite as beautiful. I had a breakfast bar.

  5. Katie, I did the same thing at the post office! I just bought a sheet of the cherry blossoms stamps. It's silly how much joy something so small brings me!

  13. Oatmeal is my staple, I think in second year of uni. that's what I survived on. With fresh fruit, it's pretty tasty!

  14. Gorgeous song. I love oatmeal but don't eat it for health reasons - it's been icky and rainy here so I've been eating homemade almond 'porridge'.
