cherry without a stone

we're back into the swing of things around here...lots of summer projects and folding baby clothes and spitting cherry pits in the shade. sis is coming fast (she's due july 10th!) and instead of panic i'm left with a bit of peace and come-what-may feelings. it's a bit of a surprise...and a true gift for my mind and my body as they prepare for the big day...but not so much of a gift to the unfinished baby things yet to do.

c'est la vie...pass the cherries!

p.s. remembering doc today...

  2. Aw! My (late) grandma always used to sing me that song. I definitely plan on carrying on the tradition with my future children.

  3. I LOVE folding baby clothes. When I was pregnant, I would sit in the nursery and look at all the tiny clothes all the time. My girls are two now, and I still love to fold and put away their clothes.

  8. Love your blog! The images are gorgeous. Since finding your blog, you have inspired me to actually create my own, instead of just saying "going to". Can I ask some advice? How do you put up the music link?

  9. It always happened to me too. During half of the pregnancy I would be frantic to get everything done, but somehow, at the end, I got in a sort of mood in which I couldn't worry about all the trivialities anymore. And they really felt like unimportant around those times. So what if the room isn't finished? The baby will sleep with us, I thought. So what if the toys aren't organized? The baby will get our love and that's all it needs at first, I thought.

True ofcourse, but so unlike me. I'm always a controlfreak, except during those times. So weird! Haha. But it did feel good :D

Love your photographs. THe colours are great!
