rhubarb and nostalgia

my senses have been taking me all sorts of places lately.
hearing old songs, uncovering troves of pictures and letters and memories, touching this big belly of mine, smelling strawberries and rhubarb baking that instantly remind me of my grandma and her farm.

it's been nice having small reasons to stop and slow down during these busy and hectic days...

  3. Lady, lady, you're blooming beautiful.
I've never made rhubarb and strawberry crumble, a definite to try. I usually make the boy a rhubarb crumble and custard (typically british!) so will give this one a go too.

  8. Oh that photo of you is just magnificent! Also, it's a weird side note, but I love how all your photos have the subjects framed with a simple elegant white background. Makes everything so vibrant and eye catching!
