sips and shadows

mornings out with baby bee...sipping tea and watching sun shadows move across bright walls.
these quiet moments out in the world together are pretty dear to me.

and then she pooed up her back and it was time to go home...

  4. The glory and the reality of babies and motherhood. Nothing will bring your heads out of the clouds, quite like an infant. Beautiful photos!

  6. Ahh...so real. I am preparing myself for years of poop up the back, but with a smile like hers she could get away with anything.:)

  12. Lovely photos. I love the simple days out and about with a wee one. I had to laugh at the poo. Yes, I nearly abandoned a cart of groceries to tend to a diaper yesterday.

  17. Gorgeous images, how do you 'get' the ones of yourself? Do you use a tripod? Or have a helping hand?
Got to have a love hate relationship with poo. Love that they are doing it and all is good and healthy. Hate that poo can change your day.

  21. haha! i laughed out loud at that last sentence. it's so true, i have a 5-month old and it's pretty much a given that she'll have a blowout if i'm out for more than an hour. i've learned to always bring extra clothes wherever i go. lovely pics!
